Saxbys Chestnut Street

Coffee Cafe

This design fits a fully-functional coffee and pastry café into a 600 square foot ground floor space with support space below. We designed the layout to maximize views from a busy urban intersection into the café.

Inspired by the tiny, refined chocolatiers of Europe, we used classic stone surfaces and rich woods with retail style lighting to create a simple, stylized aesthetic. Carefully integrated textures, equipment and menu boards facilitate a clean and elevated look and feel. In addition to interiors, we scaled, placed and integrated Saxbys signage to highlight the interior at night.

With only 7 seats, this café is one of the busiest volume café’s we’ve designed.
