Food Halls

The first curated food hall on the UPENN campus. This project set out to right the wrongs of others.

Being our first food hall design, we set out to learn from the mistakes and operational deficiencies found by our clients in other food halls. The 7-vendor, 185-seat space celebrates vendor aesthetics individuality and a variety of seating styles. That freedom to explore developed new planning strategies and concepts that facilitated a seamlessly coordinated vendor group.

Our design eliminated all underutilized shared prep/storage area and designed each vendor space to be a self-sustained mini-restaurant. The vendors are much more efficient because all storage, prep, cooking and washing functions are seamless integrated within their rent-able space.

“Adrienne is outstanding. She was essential in getting this project completed successfully. There were so many unexpected issues that came up during the process and Adrienne navigated each one perfectly. The food hall is awesome and Adrienne / Eimer Design are the reason.”
