Beiler’s Doughnuts

Restaurant

Eimer Design’s 2nd collaboration with the regional favorite,  Beiler’s Doughnuts, was designing this fast casual location in the heart of Philadelphia, PA.

After decades of success serving Amish baked goods to the visitors at Reading Terminal Market, Eimer Design helped to bring the iconic materials, forms, and aesthetic of the original location to the locations in Lancaster,PA and this location in Center City Philadelphia. Creating a contemporary material palette of warm and cool woods combined with elegant fixtures, and a mix of eye catching branding, Eimer Design seamlessly honored Beiler’s origins while providing a contemporary aesthetic and fast casual format.

By keeping the back of house open and on display with glass dividers, we were able to provide an enticing view into the doughnut making process. Utilizing the height of the space, framed out by large timber elements, evokes the sensation of being inside of an Amish barn. This double height space functions as a place to work, study, relax, or share a couple doughnuts between friends.
