This tiny coffee café design takes its inspiration from the building’s mission. – Located in a corner entrance to the Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building, the café provides a bright and comfortable zone for biomedical research students. The biomedical focus became our design inspiration. We used polygon forms inspired by the chemical composition for caffeine to create counter angles, wall art and branding for horizontal surfaces. The wall art was created by Drexel students and is used in various ways – as planters, merchandise displays and for integrated brand messaging.
