REC Philly
Co-working space, for creatives.
Living within the renovated and rebranded Fashion District in Center City Philadelphia, REC Philly is a creative community that offers direct-to-consumer entrepreneurship, resource sharing, and safe spaces for creatives.
The first touch point of REC Philly is a new concept that combines retail goods from local artists, a co-working café, and the main entrance to the community amenities. Some of these amenities include a podcasting studio sponsored by WXPN, dance studio, recording studio, visual arts studios, a stage sponsored by Live Nation, and a variety of other breakout spaces. Members can also check-out audio/visual equipment and have 24 hour access to the facility.
Eimer Design worked closely with REC Philly to provide them an efficient series of spaces. Each space has its own identity while maintaining a cohesive brand. Using accent colors with a variety of wood elements while simultaneously and selectively leaving certain elements raw allowed the design to stay true to the origins of REC Philly and help provide a visual and spatial identity.
