This project is the renovation of an historic Center City Philadelphia high rise office building into a 150-bed student apartment complex. The project integrates shared 2-bedroom units with individual loft apartments to take advantage of spectacular views down 16th and Chestnut Streets in the heart of Philadelphia’s Central Business District.
The overall project combines two floors of retail at street level, relocates the Art Institute’s Interior Design Department on the third floor and provides student apartments on the top five floors.
The focal point of the facility will be the student living units. The views and the quality of the spaces are beyond what is typical of student housing.
